Security Engineer (m/f/d)
In collaboration with your colleagues from the technical department, you plan, install and maintain IT security solutions for our customers. The focus of your work is on the implementation and support of security components and endpoint security solutions from manufacturers Palo Alto Traps, pfSense, genua, Aruba CPPM and Extreme XMC.
Your Tasks
- Systematic protection of our customers' networks.
- Architecture, design and migration of security solutions.
- Documentation of tasks, changes and issues via ticket system and wiki.
- Configuration of next-generation firewalls (application-based ruleset, IDS/IPS, SSL decryption, VPN, user identification, DNS security, URL filter, sandbox)
- Evaluation and analysis of security logs
- Solution-oriented troubleshooting and resolution
- Creation and maintenance of concepts and documentation
- Conducting proof of concepts, sophisticated security requirements, solution and product workshops
- Support in the selection and integration of innovative products in the security infrastructure
Your profile
- Training as an IT specialist in system integration or comparable training
- Sound knowledge of networks, LAN/WLAN and operating systems (especially Linux)
- Experience in configuring firewalls, NAC and security solutions
- Practical experience with firewall solutions, intrusion prevention systems, certificate solutions and endpoint security implementations
- Experience with Linux and VMware environments
- Manufacturer and product knowledge of one of the solution providers mentioned above
- Driver's license (minimum) class 3 or B is a necessary requirement
